It hasn’t been a full year since I made the move from Austin to Dallas, and I take every excuse I can to get back to ATX. A few weeks ago, my fiancé was taking a day trip down with his dad for a UT basketball game, and I went along just so I could spend a few hours of the day in Austin with my sister. I also happened to get her to sneak some photos in while we were there. Famous for its colorful, eclectic walls, I was so excited to find this one on Guadalupe Street, and stopped to shoot my outfit of the day. It was a beautiful winter day – a bit chilly but sunny, and we had just finished a brunch at Maudies. I wore these comfortable black leggings with faux leather and these flat leopard booties that were easy to walk in. Since I didn’t need a coat or jacket, I paired this voluminous green faux fur vest over my grey sweater. The green in the fur vest is a bit dark and hard to see, so to bring out the hue, I topped the look off with this gorgeous statement necklace from Eula Ferns. I can’t get enough of this lucite and gold-tone Tory Burch watch I got for Christmas – I love how unique it is and the sleek cream leather strap makes it lightweight and wearable with so many things in my closet.
