Happy humpday friends!! Evie is down for a nap, so I’m gonna make this blog post a quick one. This outfit was actually for an instagram collab I had with Modcloth, but I loved it so much I decided to make a full blog post out of it! How fun is this a-line holiday skirt?! I’m calling it the winter wonderland skirt because it depicts exactly how you envision Christmas on the movies and TV with people bundled up, carrying shopping bags around a snow-covered park. I love it’s acceptable to wear ultra-festive holiday attire not just to your local ugly Christmas sweater party, but also pretty much everywhere! This skirt is perfect for the office or for Christmas day with the family!

From my Christmas bow earrings to my whimsical wonderland skirt, this outfit celebrates the holidays from head-to-toe. What I really love about the pieces I’m wearing is that they’re classic. Yes, there are many who will call an A-line skirt and sweater popped over a collared shirt “vintage”, but if you think about it, these are styles that have been around for decades, so you really can’t go wrong with purchasing them. I love that this collared shirt comes with a three quarter sleeve, so you don’t have to worry about rolling it up and creating that awkward bunched-up look beneath your quarter length sweaters. This sweater is cashmere and it’s under $100 (you read that right!!) It’s sooo comfy and lightweight. Definitely a staple that you can wear forever!!

I picked up both the skirt, sweater and collared top from Modcloth. What I love about Modcloth is not just their amazingly affordable prices, but that you can always count on finding unique pieces you won’t see anywhere else. What’s even better?! Modcloth is an inclusive brand, so you you see nearly all of their items available in sizes ranging from XXS to 4X.
