Happy Saturday! It’s likely that you have a holiday party this weekend, so in case you’re scrambling for ideas on what to wear, I wanted to share this fun holiday look featuring gorgeous jewel tones of emerald and royal blue. I absolutely love dressing for the holidays because it calls for some of my favorite fabrics, silhouettes and textures – taffeta, plaid, sparkle galore. While I have a selection of dresses that offer this in my closet, this year I wanted to go for something different than the dress and heels combo. I found this amazing cobalt taffeta skirt that paired perfectly with my emerald and blue plaid top. Together, they nearly look like a dress! My statement Kendra Scott necklace and gold beaded clutch added opulence to the look while this black fur jacket I found lingering in my mother’s closet provided a touch of luxe. I absolutely love these ankle strap black heels, not only because of the feminine look they provide but also because of the added support. I put my hair up in a 60’s-inspired updo and added a pop of fuchsia lipstick to complete the look (I know, it need to be highlighted, don’t worry – I have an appointment today!)

Hope you have a safe and fun holiday party weekend!

Fair-well xx,
