With a new season comes new trends, and while I’m happy to say so long to what was an extremely hot summer (and one I felt even more so after spending my entire third trimester waddling around in it!), I was sad to have to see all of the bright, happy rainbow stripes that became a spring and summer staple go. So you can imagine my excitement when I found everyone’s favorite fall layering staple, the cardigan, in a rainbow-striped print that would make Dorothy proud, and for an amazing price too. 😉

Click through to get the full scoop on how I styled this rainbow cardigan sweater for a fall transitional look that’s perfect for those early fall days (you  know, when it’s still 90-something outside with 70% humidity).

A really easy way to put together an outfit that has the fall feels, but won’t make you sweat when it’s still hot outside?? Pop a statement cardigan like this rainbow number over a cami and your go-to denim shorts (LOVE the fit and wash of this high-waisted ripped pair by AGOLDE!) and pair with your fave booties or sandals that have a fall feel like these suede beauties by Marc Fisher (currently 40% off!!)

What I especially love about this amazing rainbow striped cardi is the slouchy, chunky fit that gives it a super casual vibe. I love being able to wear it now and I can’t wait to wear it over and over with leggings and jeans once it actually gets cold outside in Dallas!

Stay tuned for more fall outfit ideas here on the blog!
