Uber, Air BNB, Grubhub…all are concepts that were invented in the last 10 years or so (give or take), yet it’s so hard to imagine what we’d do without them now. From movie and TV streaming to grocery delivery, and all of the previously mentioned brands which have practically become verbs in our everyday conversations (“let’s just Uber there…” “We’ll just AirBNB it…”), we live in a time where things are continually becoming more and more convenient (and this mama-to-be certainly isn’t complaining). And if you’re a blogger, photographer or a brand looking for a space to do a photoshoot, you’ll definitely wanna add this brand to your list. Introducing AVVAY, a new concept that’s basically the AirBNB of photo studio spaces where you can choose from dozens of local photo studios to rent out for all your photography needs. With locations in Dallas (Hallelujah!), Nashville, and more, I got to try out a few of these spaces first-hand for some photoshoots with my photography friend Angie Garcia this summer, and each experience was AMAZING. Today I’ll be specifically spotlighting Studio 34 Seven, an eclectic studio space located in Deep Ellum that’s perfect for lifestyle shots and offers up both indoor and outdoor shooting locations. All my fellow bloggers know the drill…you spent several hours putting together all of your outfits, from the shoes and accessories to the props, load up your car and drive around Dallas looking for the perfect spot to park and shoot each look, with multiple trips to the car to change. Sounds simple, right?! Well in 103+ degree weather (which I’m especially feeling in my third trimester of pregnancy), this whole concept isn’t so fun. That’s why it’s the perfect time to take advantage of AVVAY, your one-stop shop to rent dozens of local photoshoot studio spaces for your needs. I usually meet with Angie about once every week to shoot content, and it was in June that we got the chance to experience shooting at Studio 34 Seven, which you can book from AVVAY. I can’t tell you how lovely it was to shoot in a space that had AC, a bathroom and large closet space to change in and even a kitchen, complete with waters and a freezer so I could stock some of the cold food items I’d brought to shoot.
If you’re looking for a space to for shooting both indoor, lifestyle-type photography and outdoor photography, Studio 34 Seven is the perfect spot! Located in Deep Ellum, the space is set up like an apartment with furniture and props you’re free to move around. Not only did the space offer several couches, which were perfect for my Amazon Baby Registry shoot and workwear shoot, but it also has an amazing bathtub that you can move around, which was perfect for my skincare shoot! The space even has a darling little carousel horse that we used for the baby registry photos. What I also loved about the studio was all of the natural lighting from the windows. What’s even better?! You also have access to a gorgeous pool on the property during your shoot time and the space offers an incredible rooftop where you can get the Dallas skyline in the back drop (we weren’t able to shoot hat because we were a bit overheated after the swimming pool shoot, but next time y’all!) As you can see from all the above shots, we got lots of shoots finished, all in the convenience of a large air-conditioned space, and we were able to finish up in just a couple of hours! If you’re looking for a space that’s versatile for both fashion and lifestyle shoots, Studio 34 Seven is perfect!
