With Chanel tipping their hats to the Wild West at their Pre-Fall 2014/2015 show (taking place in none other than Dallas, Texas y’all), I think it’s safe to say that the Southwest has had an influence on fashion. For my own Southwest chic look, I paired fringed boots, a crochet maxi skirt, braids and a tiny touch of tribal for a look that a modern day Laura Ingalls would proudly wear.
This easy braided updo was a no-brainer to add “Little House on the Prairie” flair. Arrowhead shaped earrings and a perforated leather clutch complimented the Southwest chic look flawlessy.
Whether two-stepping at a dance hall or on the strolling the streets of NYC, this is the perfect summer-to-fall transitional look.
