Looking for a Disney World Star Wars outfit to wear on your Disney Vacation? Here’s a Disney World Star Wars outfit that will be sure you sparkle in a galaxy of people.
What To Wear to Star Wars: Galaxy Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s California Adventure
If you’ve followed my Instagram stories, you may know that I started out this week with a few magic-filled days at my favorite place on earth, Walt Disney World. As a quick disclaimer – this trip was totally last minute! Had it been planned, I would have absolutely worked it out for Everly to also be there.
It was just a timing thing where it worked out for me to pop over to Orlando for a couple of days after a press trip I had in nearby Tampa. The gorgeous Bohemian Hotel Celebration was even kind enough to host me (more on that later). AND NEWS FLASH (in case you didn’t know), anyone in media can request two FREE Disney World or Disneyland park-hopper passes every calendar year. It’s been at least two years since I’ve cashed in on that privilege (dm me or email me if you want to know how to get media tickets!!!) So it was basically a FREE Disney trip…how could I say no??? I mostly used the trip as an opportunity to capture some new Disney content and to do some exploring of all the new things WDW has to offer. That way I’ll be fully prepared to plan Everly’s first trip (which will hopefully happen soon!)

During my quick 48 hour trip, I got to meet and work with an incredibly talented Walt Disney World photographer and the SWEETEST human ever, Makenna from Makenna Brooke Photography. I cannot say enough things about how amazing she was, and I’ve officially decided I’m never going to a Disney Park without hiring a photographer (& specifically Makenna, if she’s available!) By simply meeting a couple of hours at park opening on each day I was there, we were able to shoot TONS of fun Disney Parks outfits to help inspire your future trips. Today I’m so excited to share the first in my new Disney Outfit series on the blog!!
In honor of this week’s opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World (which we missed by a hair, but it’s fine!), I’m so excited to share a Disney World Star Wars outfit we shot at Hollywood Studios that’s perfect for a day spent in a galaxy far, far away.
Here’s some Star Wars caption ideas for your Disney trip that you might wanna save too.
Before I talk about this outfit, I’ll discuss the wookiee in the room…NO I would not ever wear or condone wearing these heels or heels of any sort to a Disney park. I simply put them in my backpack to style with a few of my outfits. Even wearing them for a few minutes of walking gave me blisters. OUCH! This outfit would be just as cute with a pair of comfortable white sneakers (and the sheer star embellished socks would work with them too!). That’s what I would recommend. But for today’s purposes, let’s just go with it.
And speaking of backpacks, my number one recommendation when dressing for a Disney park is to carry a backpack. And also a small crossbody bag if you’re like me and are carrying lots of things. I’m obsessed with all of the Disney backpacks by Loungefly and this R2D2 backpack was calling my name. They’re perfectly petite sized for the parks, but big enough to carry necessities like your water bottle, wallet, your Mickey ears. Just in case ya need a break, and even a couple of things you might have scooped up while shopping at the parks.
I know a skirt in August in Orlando looks a little extra, but this one was totally fine even for the hottest month of the year because it’s SO lightweight and airy. Sometimes its fun to switch up the typical outfit at Disney. This skirt is SO fun for a day at Galaxy’s Edge. I actually had brought three Star Wars tees to style with it! The one I’m wearing plus a pink one and a white one, and they all looked great with the skirt!!
To finish this Star Wars-inspired Disney parks outfit, I topped it off with some silver sequin Mickey ears. Ears are an absolute must with any Disney Parks look IMO! Then, I added some fun moon shaped statement earrings, which are super lightweight and perfect for Disney!
