It’s hard to believe it, but spring is almost here! While I love cozying up in knits and sweaters for fall and winter, the bright whites and vivid colors of spring and summer totally speak to my style, so I’m much more of a warmer weather fashion girl. Since spring break is around the corner, which will take many of you seaside and others (like myself) to the mountains, today I’m putting together a look for those headed to the ocean, during that in-between cold and hot time of year.
Whether you’re headed to the beach or are ready to embrace spring fashion before the warmer temps arrive, click through to get the details on this spring outfit featuring a must-have pair of striped skinny jeans, the most darling ruffled white top and some essential wedges that will take you from early spring to late summer.
First things first, let’s talk about these striped skinny jeans. I’ve seen several pairs of striped denim that features classic bold black and white stripe, but I absolutely love that the stripes are so subtle on these light blue and white beauties. What I also love is the price point. Articles of Society always has the best denim at the most affordable price, and these skinnies will only cost you $68! The other thing I have major heart eyes over is the frayed cut of the denim, making them easy to roll up for ankle strap sandals like I did or show off the frayed look. For sizing purposes, they do run a little larger and stretch with wear, so I would go a size down if you want a tight fit and stick to your usual size if you want a looser fit.
Next up, this top is simply heavenly, y’all. I loved the way it looked online but when it arrived, I was surprised and delighted to find that the ruffled number was made from the softest thermal-like material ever. The ruffled sweater was my jam this winter, and I’ve always been a major fan of the cold shouldered look for spring, so this top that combines both of the trends is
While the jeans and top could be styled hundreds of ways, the accessories is where I added the seaside vibes to this outfit. I started with this amazing seaglass necklace I scooped up from BaubleBar. The necklace has been around for a couple of seasons, but this spring, they introduced it in this mint green color as well as a lilac color and I’m loving it. I added more beachy color vibes with this stunning embroidered carryall by Steve Madden. The size makes it perfect to carry as a beach bag or as your handbag, and I love the detail. Last of all, I topped the look with the caaa-utest sea horse belt by my favorite belt company, Raina Belts. What I love about their belts is that the leather is interchangeable with the metal closures so you have endless possibilities. Currently, I have gold sea horses, pineapples and flamingo belt closures to get me all the way through summer.
Last of all, I have to give a shout out to what have to be my favorite wedges of all time. These cognac espadrilles Marc Fisher beauties are not only so chic, they are insanely comfortable and will hold up all season long! They also come in a black color option (which I might be adding to my shoe collection soon.)
Stay tuned for more spring outfit ideas!
