FULL SKIRT: similar House of Fraser // CROP TOP: similar Nasty Gal // EARRINGS: Kendra Scott // HEELS: similar French Connection (onsale!) // PURSE: similar Reiss // SUNNIES: Kate Spade
If you’ve followed my blog since this summer, this crop top and full skirt may look familiar. I wore this striped top with a mini skirt here and this full skirt with a simple white tee here. One of the most fun things about fashion is finding new ways to wear things you currently have in your wardrobe, which is how I came up with this look. A top and skirt I wore in the spring/summer time becomes the perfect winter look when paired together. There’s something so interesting about mixing patterns. Although the bold, graphic colors of this top contrast greatly with the pastel hue of the skirt, the similar pattern of the stripes compliment each other in an unexpected way. I absolutely love this outfit for a New Years party look, especially one where a little more coverage than the tiny sequined dress or skirt is needed. These classic black pointed toe heels and vintage beaded purse are the perfect accessories to make this look feel even more feminine and timeless.
