The biggest perk to having a bloggy business is definitely the ability to work from home, which I have never appreciated more than now, with baby girl on the way. But I once had a 9-5 corporate job and I still have to dress the part every now and then, and since that can especially be a challenge for us mama’s-to-be, I thought it would be the perfect time to put together a bump-friendly workwear outfit. Click on the read more button below to get the full scoop on this maternity work clothes outfit featuring pieces from one of my new favorite brands for classic, feminine garments that are perfect for the office, LUBA by Hannah Payne.

About half way through my second trimester, my jeans were the first thing I noticed I could no longer fit in, so I immediately hopped online to do some research on maternity jeans to get me through the rest of my pregnancy. Since I knew I’d be pregnant through the summer, I wanted a pair that went under the bump, since many summer tops are made from lightweight material that might show over-the-bump lining, and because, in the summer, the less material, the better. I absolutely LOVE this slightly-distressed pair I found by Madewell (which happen to be 40% off right now!)

Luckily, most offices now allow denim in the workplace, especially when they’re dressed up with some sandals or pumps and a smart blouse or jacket. The top and tweed jacket I styled with my maternity jeans for today’s look are both by LUBA, a brand known for their high-end, classic staples with just the right feminine touch. Neither piece is maternity, but because they are so versatile, they can easily be worn pre-bump, post-bump and with a bump too. I absolutely LOVE the stunning white silk top from the brand. With flowy layers of silk and darling pleated ruffle details on the sleeves, the top has just the right amount of extra details to make the classic top a unique staple you can wear for years to come. The pink tweed jacket is also by LUBA, and I absolutely adore the fit and the gorgeous detail of the pink, coral and gold tweed texture. You can shop LUBA’s entire line of classic, feminine garments here!

To top this bump-friendly workwear look off, I popped on some strappy blush pink sandals and opted for my new Lipault tote, which cam easily stow your work essentials, from your calendar to your laptop.
