I think I nearly scared Cole to death last night when I let out a loud, groaning “NOOOOOO!!!” after hearing the weather man explain that we might have one of the hottest summer’s since the 80’s upon us here in Dallas. Just my luck for the hottest summer of my lifetime show up when I’m in the third trimester of my pregnancy. All that’s to say, comfort is of the absolute, upmost importance in my life right now, which is why I’ll be adopting a summer uniform of lightweight cotton dresses like this one and comfy sneakers like these darling white eyelet sneakers by Koolaburra.

Sister brand to classic brand we all know and love UGGS, Koolaburra is a shoe brand that makes wear-anywhere shoe staples that you know will be comfortable and have that coastal, SoCal vibe. Their shoes are designed to be comfortable, casual and naturally care-free, easily transitioning from brunch to beach. The brand is especially great for the hot summer months and for gals like me who want to prioritize comfort without compromising style. The white eyelet sneakers I’m styling today are a perfect example of the brand’s effortless, cozy chic style. These sneakers are wear-all-day kinda comfy and can easily be paired with a flirty dress like I’m wearing in these photos or with a pair of denim shorts.
I’m so glad the sneakers and dress look is here to stay. I’ve quickly found that I’m most comfortable when I’m in lightweight stretchy cotton, and that either means leggings for when I’m lounging around the house or running errands or a lightweight cotton dress like this one for days when I want to dress up a little without feeling miserable. The dress I’m styling today is non-maternity,but thanks to the super lightweight, stretchy cotton material, it’s very bump-friendly. Whether preggers or not, you’ll love how cool and comfy you feel in the fabric and I’m in LOVE with the coral-red hue of the dress and the off-the-shoulder fit. While the dress would easily look great with strappy sandals or wedges, it looks equally as adorable with these white eyelet sneakers (thank goodness for me…I think I’ve officially sworn off anything with a heel until after baby girl is her!)
