FRENCH TWIST SCARF

Happy Monday! For today’s look, I’m taking it back to the 60’s 70’s with a retro-inspired look. I found this Kate Spade scarf in the prettiest blue hue and I was so excited to style it. I was confused, however, when I tried to master the chic neck tie look to no avail. Thankfully, I found this little guide via google and found out it was a french twist that I wanted (who knew?) After following the folding guidelines, I figured it out.

I paired the scarf with some high waisted bell bottoms to add to the retro feel and wore an off shoulder black top for a little feminine feel. Two pops of color is always better than one in my book, so I carried this hot pink Kate Spade bag for some extra pizzaz. I added some dainty jewels like this pretty necklace from Bip and Bop and this pretty turquoise drusy bracelet by Wrenn Jewelry for subtle sparkle. My sky-high platform heels were the perfect way to finish off this fun, retro look.

Thank you so much! When in doubt, I always grab a couple of bobby pins and pin my hair in a slightly-side bun like I did here. 🙂
