LAYERED PINK SWEATER

Today I’m sharing the prettiest layered pink sweater ever. From the layered look and pleated details, to the feminine hue and the soft feel of the fabric, I am obsessed with this sweater. It reminds me of something a ballerina might wear to rehearse.  Although spring is just around the corner, it’s the perfect transitional piece that you can wear now with skinny jeans like I did and later with some denim boyfriend shorts.

To style the shirt, I started with my new go-to pair of distressed skinny jeans and my grey booties (similar on sale here)  for a neutral palette to make the pink pop. I added a little more color with a serenity blue statement necklace (just $24!) and a scarf in the same hue that I found on major sale (mostly for my Colorado trip, but it also looked great with the sweater.) I have to give this sweater a little more talking points – first of all, the layered look is absolutely amazing because it does it for you without any of the stuffiness, creases or bulging in the fabric that layering on your own can also do (I’ve linked more layered sweaters below). What’s even more to love, however, is the back of the sweater. It fans out, completely exposing the pleated white fabric beneath and making an unexpected statement.
